A visibly angered Raila Odinga literally wept when police manhandled self proclaimed NRM General Miguna Miguna at Home Kenyatta Airport on Monday, reveals an insider.
Videos circulating on social media shows a struggling Raila trying to run for Miguna's rescue amid heavy presence of police.
But after the incident, the source said, Raila, who had all along been making calls to State House, wept over the manner Miguna was handled.
"It is untrue to claim that Raila never cares. At the age of 73 he spent hours at JKIA pushing for Miguna's release.
"In fact, I can confirm without any doubt that he even wept. It was a bad experience," said a source, who spoke in confidence.
Since Monday night, Raila has gone mum over Miguna's tribulations with NASA lawyers taking the matter to court.
The ambitious social-political commentator has refused to apply citizenship afresh despite the government insisting that he's an alien.
