The Bungoma County Senator, Moses Wetangula has become the talk of town after he was unanimously voted out as Senate leader of Minority and replaced by Siaya Senator James Orengo.

Hon. Wetangula spent several days trapped inside a hotel in Bamako, Mali during a coup d’état in march 2012 when he was serving as a Foreign Minister in former president Kibaki’s government.
Wetangula also shown his courage after he summoned the United Kingdom High commissioner, Adam Wood, regarding the presidential election critics.He told the high commissioner that Kenyan election did not need a stamp of authority from the House of Commons.
Wetangula is also an active community developer as he participates on self-help drives to set up project on self-help basis and has also been offering legal services to the local people.
