The state of Kibera roads entering the interior parts of Kibera slums is getting worse especially this season when there are no rains experienced.

Speaking on Wednesday afternoon at Mashimoni village in Kibera, Polycarp Mutindi said that at times when there are no rains, the interior roads turns dusty.

"Vehicles and motorbikes moving at high speeds blow dust to pedestrians who frequently use the road. Since the rains ended many of them have been in and out of the hospital, "said Mutindi.

"If it is possible that water is sprinkled on such roads just to remove the dust, that would help a lot," suggested Mutindi.

He also said that vehicles and motorbikes should be driven slowly on such roads to prevent excessive dust blowing to living premises and areas of work.
