The G7 summit held in Canada is over and President Uhuru Kenyatta left the North American country on Monday, however, the Head of State also left a mark on Canadian Prime Minister Mr Justin Trudeau.
Uhuru gave Trudeau a framed photo of himself when he visited Kenya with his father, the former Canadian Prime Minister Mr Pierre Trudeau. In the photo, the young Trudeau is seen sandwiched between former presidents Daniel Moi and Mwai Kibaki.
The gift warmed the heart of Trudeau who termed it as a trip down the memory lane.
'A trip down memory lane from President Uhuru Kenyatta today. Canada and Kenya will always keep working to build our partnerships from strength to strength," Trudeau wrote on his Twitter handle.
Uhuru has thus left Canada with goodies that include $2.9 billion that Canada plans to offer in partnership with other G7 countries to help educate girls and women from the poorest countries. The North American nation also promised to help Kenya tap its ocean resources.
