higher learning education is now losing its value due to the systems

used in awarding the degrees in these institutions. Many universities

are selling degrees to politicians and rich individuals as a business

for the university management. With this kind of ill businesses, many

degrees and masters have been vetted and declared as fake. This has

made even the legit papers be questioned.

Some students in campus are seen selling sex for marks. With the rampant culture of sponsorship, ladies will have sugar daddies that are prominent in the university who will later award marks considering that they have not sat for exams. These cases have become so common in these institutions that it has become a trend. After graduating, this group of graduates are not qualified to have a job.

Some institutions are offering courses that are not recognized by CUE thus making the papers be questionable by employers. Several universities have been shut down due to level of their degrees thus making their graduates’ papers meaningless.

With this kind of higher learning in Kenya, many graduates are half baked to handle their respective fields of duty. At times Kenyan papers are questionable that getting sponsorship for further studies outside country is becoming an issue.
