The last general election saw most people contest for senatorial, governor and MP seats as minority contested for members of county assembly (MCA). But now many have realised that MCAs seats are quite powerful.
This comes after many people from various wards said they are aiming at contesting for MCA seats in their respective wards.
From Gesima Ward we have more than 15 aspirants who have declared to contest for the seat. Will they win? But they should remember that it is only one who can make it. This shows that the seat has more candidates than others.
The aspirants have already started campaigning ahead of next year's general election as the current members of county assembly have taken a seat back as they accuse the aspirants of trying to hinder their developments.
Come 2017, we will have more people contesting for governor and MCA positions than any other seat since these two are believed to be the better seats to go for.
