Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho is a man who never ceases to amuse his followers.
On Wednesday when he landed in Kisumu after attending the fifth Devolution Conference at Kakamega High School, the Mombasa County boss made a stopover at Kondele Ward along the Kisumu-Kakamega Road where addressed enthusiastic opposition supporters.
In his company were his deputy Dr William Kingi, Kisumu Deputy Governor Dr Ochieng Owili, and Kondele MCA Joachim Oketch Omieno.
The host, Mr Oketch is so outspoken that he has left many lakeside city residents in admiration.
Addressing the crowd, Joho took time to praise the flamboyant Member of the County Assembly and even went ahead to give Oketch a nickname.
"Today, I have seen your MCA dressed like me. The beard resembles mine, he is a Raila hero like me. Today I am going to give him a name; 'Sultan Junior'," Joho stated.
Oketch is a first time MCA and is said to be rocking the Kisumu political space as some residents claim he may ascend to the MP position in 2022.
He is a close ally of opposition chief Raila Odinga and is claimed to have an unrestricted way to Raila's office.
Oketch, came to the limelight when he was arrested in Kisumu after he disrupted training for IEBC officials ahead of the August 8 election.
