A new research by Brighter Monday has revealed that a majority of Kenyans are unhappy at their work place.

The study released on Monday revealed that eight out of 10 respondents said they were not satisfied with their place of work. 

The study also found that half of the respondents reported that they would not recommend their company to their friends or relatives.

They stated that the corporate environment is harsh.

 The report further said younger employees were more likely to leave, with 30 per cent of those between the ages of 18 and 24 saying they were willing to quit. 

 Job security, pay and proximity to work are the most important factors for the different job levels are some of the reasons why Kenyans are unhappy with their employers.

The study goes ahead to reveal that the longer employees stay in employment, the higher their satisfaction level grows.
