The failure of the National Super Alliance (NASA) to conduct joint nominations is likely to cost Cord leader Raila Amolo Odinga and Wiper Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka quest to rise to power in August.

For instance, Muthama is already accusing Former Vice President of poor governance yet he expects Kenyans to believe that NASA will restore the nation’s lost glory.

ODM, Wiper, ANC and Ford Kenya will be fielding candidates against each, which is not healthy as the opposition puts in place strategies that will see its leaders rise to power in August.

The political showdown that will be witnessed during governor, senator, MP, Women Rep and MCAs race will affect the unity of the alliance.

It will not be easy for leaders of the alliance to speak in one voice. How will the candidates hold joint rallies to drum up support for former prime minister to rise to power.

The rallies of the opposition will be characterized by political show downs that will make the electorate divided when time comes to voting.  Politics is a dirty game.

Leaders of this alliance need to tell the people the same thing, which is going to be the case as we approach the election.
