Nairobi governor Mike Sonko has assured residents that his leadership will ensure its serves all people to satisfaction.
Sonko said that unless in the past where cartels thrived in Nairobi, he will work to see that even the poor get quality services without discrimination.
The governor added that the running of City Hall will be smooth and will aim at improving the lives of all Nairobians.
"In order to facilitate smooth running of the City County my administration is working round the clock to improve living standards of Nairobians in terms of health, education, industry, market, security among other key factors. I will make sure even Mama Mboga enjoys good leadership," he said.
"My administration has sealed the most obvious loopholes that led to the loss of revenue. My administration will make every effort to have a city where water is safe, accessible, affordable and regular," he added.
This will be good news to millions of city residents who live below the poverty line.
Kibera slum is said to have over one million people who continue to live in poverty and struggles for basic necessities including food, housing and education.
