Junet said many youth are poor managers who cannot be entrusted with the presidency.

"There are jobs in Kenya that should not be left for the youth," he said as he spoke in Uasin Gishu.

"The presidency should not be left to young people. That's work for old men like Raila Odinga and people like former President Moi. So if you elect youth who will play with the lives of Kenyans, all of us will suffer."

He called on Kenyans to shun tribalism and elect leaders basing on their ability to steer the country forward.

Junet said many Kenyans were languishing in poverty despite the numerous economic opportunities available.

He blamed the government for failing to institute good economic policies that will help Kenyans uplift their livelihoods.

"In 2017, let's put aside tribalism, let us liberate our country once and for all.
