[Photo/Daily Nation]The story about Nairobi gubernatorial hopeful Miguna Miguna signature Islamic cap rose up during Monday's Nairobi gubernatorial aspirants debate on KTN News, after county Senator Mike Sonko claimed the cap was hidding some dark past in the lawyers life.
According to Sonko's claims, his rival was wearing the cap to hide the marks of his head that he got sometimes back when he was a burglar.

However, city self proclaimed Grand Mullah and lawyer Ahmednasir Abdulahi posted a photo of a capless Miguna on twitter in a move seen as a ploy to substantiate Sonko's claims.
"Senator Sonko had a good explanation on the scar on Miguna's forehead. Kofia used to hide," reads Abdulahi's tweet.
Kenyans on twitter, however attacked Abdulahi accusing him of being petty.
