Opposition chief Raila Odinga has revealed the secret messages he has been receiving from the world about Kenya and the entire Africa.
Speaking during Joint ODM meeting in Mombasa, Raila said that according to the messages he is receiving, Kenya is lucky to have been given the last second chance.
“From across the world, Africa and our country, the message I continue to get is that this is Kenya’s last-second chance and that not many nations get second chances,” said Mr. Odinga on Monday.
This is because of corruption, disunity and the political differences that have brought the country to a brink of violence after elections.
He noted that the problem of the country is the people who are not willing to embrace the political changes, especially after the famous handshake.
“Those who have refused to see and embrace the change and those resisting the change and trying to rewind the clock are the ones wallowing in or creating confusion. They embrace the war on corruption today and display its proceeds tomorrow. They embrace national unity this week and sow the seeds of discord the following week,” added Raila.
However, he did not say what will happen to the nation if the last second chance is wasted.
