Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM) party leader Kalonzo Musyoka is surely headed for a win in the 2022 presidential polls.
This will, however, succeed endorsements by a team of influential politicians which will aid him in outdoing his rivals in the race, including the likes of Deputy President William Ruto.
A union between the immediate former Vice President and opposition leader Raila Odinga will surely tilt the results in his favor handing him the victory.
The National Super Alliance (NASA) chief is a well-known kingmaker who played the biggest role in ensuring retired President Mwai Kibaki's win via his "Kibaki Tosha" slogan.
Odinga boasts of a loyal backing from his Luo Nyanza bedrock which if added to his Coast, North Eastern, Western and Kisii support base and combined with Musyoka's Ukambani voting block and the national following amounts to a victory.
President Uhuru Kenyatta also carries the key to Musyoka's destiny.
The outgoing head of state enjoys a nationwide backing and an absolute following of his Kikuyu community, the biggest voting block in the nation, another plus on Kalonzo's vote basket upon acquiring his support.
Also on the list is the Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula duo, currently the most celebrated leaders from the heavily populated Western Kenya region.
Upon acquiring the duo's support and that of Odinga, Musyoka will have cordoned off the entire Western part of Kenya.
With these politicians on his side, Musyoka will obviously make it to the throne, making a record as the fifth President of Kenya.
