Moi University students are set to resume session next week after a lecturers' strike that has now lasted for over 65 days.

Public University dons across the country went on strike on 1st March demanding for settlement of the 2017-2021 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA)

"The students may be called back to resume their academics on Monday following an agreement that we had." a lecturer at Kesses-based University said on Friday but refused to go into details. 

Most of the public universities have resumed activities. These include; Kenyatta University, Technical university of Kenya,, Pwani University, University of Nairobi and Multimedia university.

The academic calendar is expected to last up to July after which the students would go on a holiday before resuming session again in September.
