Nyaribari Chache residents in Kisii county have been assured that Keumbu theater wing is operational hence they should seek medical attention at the hospital.
Addressing residents on Monday at Keumbu level five hospital, Kisii county Governor James Ongwae assured them that the theater wing is now operational for them to get the services they needed.
“As one way of improving health sector within the county I would like to let you know that we have measures in place in which will help us do more in this sector, I would like to tell you that the theater wing is now operational," said Ongwae.
He challenged residents to seek medical attention at Keumbu level five hospital as one way of reducing the traveling cost to Kisii Teaching and Referral hospital.
“The wing is going to help residents who have been traveling to KTRH seeking for the same, now have somewhere close to them,” said Ongwae.
Ongwae also said that in the next financial budget they are going to allocate more funds to the health sector which will help to improve the county.
“In the next financial year we are going to allocate more funds in health sector so that we can improve the health standards across the county," he added.
