Milimani chief magistrate Francis Andayi gave the order on Tuesday after prosecution witnesses failed to turn up.
Prosecutor Solomon Naulikha applied for the adjournment and asked for the court to issue a summons for them to go to court on the new date.
Jimlewis Musyimi and Esther Wanjiru are charged with stealing Sh 27,670,000 between July 17 and August 4 from the branch on Koinange street in Nairobi.
They were released on Sh3 million bond each.
