National Super Alliance (NASA) co-principal Moses Wetangula has dismissed claims that there is sharp internal feuds in the alliance over proposed joint nominations.

Wetangula claims that though there is no agreement on possibility of NASA conducting joint nominations, there are no internal wrangles among top leaders.

The Bungoma senator says that NASA is intact and is working on modalities of identifying and endorsing its flag bearer ahead of the August polls.

“Media speculations being peddled round that there is confusion in NASA are false and meant to create anxiety among NASA supporters,” he told journalists in Nairobi on Friday.

Wetangula said that NASA will remain united ahead of the August general election.

There have been  claims that there is internal feuds in NASA over joint nominations.

A section of NASA Parties are opposed to joint nominations.

Wipe Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has been quoted saying that his party will not agree to the NASA joint nomination proposal.

Kalonzo has been quoted saying that Wiper will conduct its own independent nominations.

Ford Kenya has also opposed the idea of joint nomination in NASA.

On Thursday ODM leader Raila Odinga said that joint nomination in NASA will give the alalince an edge against Jubilee Party.

Raila said that joint nominations will ensure NASA clinches all seats in its strongholds.

He blamed some selfish leaders of allegedly plotting to oppose NASA joint nomination proposal.

Political analysts say that NASA and Jubilee have a huge task of ensuring free and fair nominations slated for next month.
