Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chairman Wafula Chebukati has assured Kenyans that there is no division in the electoral commission.

He said there are no divisions as purported by some media houses.

“I want also to state categorically that there is no division in the electoral body and we are working as a team to ensure we deliver credible elections come October 26th,” he said in  Eldoret town, Sunday.

"Small misunderstandings do not mean we are divided. Everything is okay therefore no cause of alarm," he added.

He reiterated the commission's commitment to ensuring that credible elections are conducted in the 26th October presidential elections.

"Want to assure Kenyans that elections will be conducted as scheduled even if the opposition NASA pulls out. We know we are facing some myriad challenges but that will not hinder is from delivering credible elections to Kenyans," he added.
