Baringo MP Sammy Mwaita says there is no way he is ditching Jubilee party since he was one of the core founders of the party.
This is after KANU affiliate politicians called upon the MP to ditch Jubilee and join them to secure his seat in next year’s general elections.
Nominated Senator Zipporah Kittony called on the Politicians from Baringo to join Kanu to be safe about their political ambitions and not to lose at the nominations.
The MP clashed with KANU affiliated politicians saying Kanu was like a sinking ship heading nowhere.
“There is no way I am ditching Jubilee Party since I am a co-founder of the party and there is no way am going to ditch the party,” said the MP.
KANU chairman Nick Salat, who was present, called upon leaders to join KANU saying that Jubilee Party had already dished out nomination tickets to their preferred candidates.
The Politicians were speaking during a fundraiser in Kituro Baringo County.
It is alleged that Mwaita is Jubilee's preferred candidate in the region, and Kanu has attacked him severally on this.
