Chief of the Defence Forces General Samson Mwathathe has said Kenyans who want to vote on October 26 will do so. 

Speaking on Saturday,  the CDF said the constitution gives Kenyans the right to vote. 

"The constitution gives Kenyans the rght to vote. Those who want to vote will vote on October 26, and those who don't want to will do so.  The day will come and pass," he said. 

Mwathathe warned politicians against reckless talk.

Such talks, he said,  risk plunging the country into political upheaval. 

The Chief of the Defence Forces spoke at a time when there is uncertainity over the repeat presidential poll.
