Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka has insisted that National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate Raila Amolo Odinga will not lose to President Uhuru Kenyatta in the August general elections.
The former vice President said that the opposition has 10 million votes, which gives it an upper hand over the ruling party with less than two months to the polls.
“There is no way Jubilee will beat NASA. We have 10 million votes to win the August election,” he said, as quoted by Standard.
On his part, Raila also expressed confidence that he will win the presidency this time round. The former prime minister also took a swipe at the Jubilee administration for failing to implement the Truth, Justice and Reconciliation Commission (TJRC) report.
He further said his government will ensure justice is served. “The Jubilee administration is not willing to address historical land injustices meted against certain communities like the Taitas and Tavetas.
It is only a NASA government that will address land reforms to ensure that all squatters are given land to improve their well-being,” Raila said during a rally in Taveta.
The former prime minister has been criticizing the ruling government over different issues including high cost of living, extra judicial killings, corruption and food shortage among others.
