The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has confirmed that ballot papers for the August 8 general elections, have received in the country.The consignment arrived Tuesday evening, from Dubai, where they were being printed by Al Ghurair Printing and Publishing LLC.While receiving the papers, IEBC vice chairperson Consolata Bucha Maina indicated those that arrived were ballot papers for the governor, senator, and Woman Representative positions.

​​The printing firm kicked off printing of the mentioned ballot papers June 23, leaving that of the presidency, following cancellation of its tender, by the High Court, after Opposition's petition.IEBC however appealed the ruling, and the Court of Appeal will rule over the case, Thursday July 20.Other than presidential ballot papers, those remaining include for the Member of County Assembly and Member of Parliament.
