Speaking at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport Monday evening, Miguna said that he was not going to leave the country for lacking a Kenyan visa.

He insisted that he was a Kenyan by birth and therefore did not need to possess a Kenyan visa to enter the country.

"They say they now want to remove me by force. But they'll have to kill me first," he said.

Asked whether he had Canadian documents to be allowed into the country, he said he didn't have to have them to gain entry.

"I am a Kenyan. I am not traveling with a Canadian passport. I am a Kenyan by birth and I'm not going to get nobody's visa," he insisted.
