A NASA strategist, Joseph Simekha, has said that the opposition is aware that the government is planning to arrest opposition leaders over the swearing-in and they are ready for it.
''We are not surprised. They want to arrest all of us, we are prepared for it. They want to shoot all of us, we are prepared for it. We are not surprised,'' straight-shooting Joseph Simekha said.
The NASA strategists were speaking Wednesday night during a television programme.
Simekha's strong words come in the context of a political stand-off that has seen Ruaraka MP TJ Kajwang arrested by police officers for allegedly administering an oath to Raila Odinga.
He maintained that the spirit of the opposition to fight for electoral justice would not die down.
