NACADA Chairman has said that the manufacturer of the killer brew that killed three people in Munyu, Thika last week will compensate the victims' families before going to jail.
Mututho was speaking to the public in Gatundu town yesterday,he added that the war against illicit liquor has been heightened and those operating outside the law will start feeling the heat.
"In Kenya currently, we have around 9000 brands of spirits being sold and only few are legal. Let me warn those brewers operating illegally that soon they will face the law," said Mututho.
He added, "The owner of the brand Dallas that killed people in Munyu, once we get him, he will end in jail and compensate the lives lost."
He asserted that all brewers are supposed to be licensed by NACADA and not the county governments.
This he said is for ensuring quality and safety. Mututho challenged Central Kenya youths to shun alcohol saying that there may be no man in future from the area to take up a position like the one General Julius Karangi, CDF Kenya Defence Forces is leaving behind on retirement at the end of this month.
