Thika constituency legislator madam  Alice Nganga was on  Wednesday asked not to support the leaders who are corrupt, especially those mentioned in the list of shame.

This comes after 175 officials including, 13 Governors were named in the corruption allegations and were requested to step down to pave way for investigations.

Speaking during the Thika district business association  protests in Thika town today the secretart for the association Alfred Wanyoike called on the the legislator  not to support the officers  who were mentioned in the corruption allegations.

“One misuses the public funds alone and  you also should leave them to carry their own crosses we have the confidence in you because you are always there when we need you ”. wanyoike said

The secretary  noted that corruption has been a big disaster in the country and there is need for people to come together and fight it, saying teachers went on strike seeking for salary increment and case has not be solved due to corruption that has made the national government experience inadequate funds.

“The main thing that has made us gather around here today is because we have witnesses alot of corruption in the county and we cammot continue paying this high prices so we will have to bring this to an end.” Wanyoike added

He said if corruption will be fought to the end their will be no strikes among the teachers, doctors and other institutions like the one witnessed today in Thika.
