Ng’ang’a claimed the county government is in the process of fighting her development projects again as she commenced the construction after the World Bank-funded the construction had delivered the funds.

The MP wondered why those opposed to the project never raised any issues before it kicked off.

The county government of Kiambu has raised concerns over the construction of the facilities which the CeC said were set to be constructed back in 2012 but the funds were embezzled and now they are forcing it to show the public.

Ng’ang’a has called on the contractor not to listen to anyone from the county government as they are not his employer and the roads belong to the national government.

“The contractor will not be disturbed nor controlled by the county government and he will continue with his work. Let everyone do his job as mandated and not distract others,” the legislator said.

She was speaking in Thika town during a press briefing on Tuesday where she condemned the executive for indulging into the issues 'that do not concern her'.

She has challenged the county government to renovate the rural roads which are allocated to them and which she says have been neglected.
