Thika MP Alice Ng’ang’a has accused the Kiambu County government again of neglecting their obligations and embezzling public funds.
Speaking at Thika sub-county stadium, the MP said that the county government was given Sh80 million from the national government for the renovation and improving county roads - project she said is yet to begin.
She said that the county roads are in bad shape, adding that she will take the responsibility of the county if Governor William Kabogo does not make any move in improving on the same.
Ng’ang’a said that the governor earlier was quoted in the media saying that he had disbursed Sh9 million to each ward of the Kiambu County to renovate the roads. She claimed the disbursement has not happened.
