Ng'ang'a, who was speaking on Wednesday during a fundraiser held at the school to buy wheel-chairs, said that Thika Town CDF has been benefiting the school and will continue to do so.

“We are committed to supporting this school because we know disability does not mean inability. We have very bright pupils here and we have to support them fully to realize their goals,” said Ng'ang'a.

“That is why I gave them Sh1.5 million in this financial year to renovate their pavements, and I am promising Sh2 million more for the same in the coming financial year,” she added.

She said that she has also given Sh2.5 million in form of bursaries to the students in the school this year.

The MP noted that the school has been in existence for decades, and has transformed lives of many disabled people.

Others in attendance were DP William Ruto, Kiambu Governor William Kabogo, among other dignitaries.
