Speaking from the CDF offices today, Njihia said the area legislator has been in the frontline condemning the oppression of the common ‘mwananchi’ by the Kiambu county government but there is a group of misled residents that has been trying to fight her.

He added that he is delighted to be affiliated to such a leader that cares for the people she represents and fights their war at all times.

“She is the best leader that Thika people could have wished for and she deserves respect and support in her efforts of fighting the oppressive leadership we have been experiencing around,” he said.

He added: “A group has been trying to stop her from advocating for the people’s rights and I want to call on them to be calm and give their best support. Thika residents should avoid cheap politics and being paid to foil leaders meetings.”

Last weekend, Ng’ang’a organised a meeting with Kiambu MPs in Thika where they faulted the county government for misappropriation of public funds by purchasing the 72 vehicles meant for administrators.

Ng’ang’a said that she will not sit and watch the Kiambu government harass Thika residents and vowed to fight for their rights and privileges.
