Thika United have resumed training as the team prepares for the two-legged playoffs against NSL side Ushuru.
The first match will be played on December 6 with the second one coming after four days and the overall winner will feature in next year's Kenya Premier League season.
The Thika men avoided automatic relegation at the end of the league season after finishing third-last above relegated Western Stima and Muhoroni Youth.
Ushuru on the other hand failed to get an automatic slot after they faltered 0-1 at the hands of champions Vihiga United on the last day of the season.
University of Nairobi side Wazito earned the second slot to the KPL.
Thika coach Nicholas Muyoti will however face the Taxman without his key midfielder Said Tsuma who is in camp with the national team Harambee Stars for the ongoing Cecafa Senior Challenge tournament.
