Speaking on Wednesday when she toured Kiandutu slum to enhance cleanliness Nyokabi said she will expedite the process of giving them ID.

“The IDs will take a maximum of two weeks before they are done and I will make sure the deal is sealed in order for  you to start transacting business like other Kenyans,” said Nyokabi.

According to the legislator, most of the children are orphans and no one was able to assist them in getting IDs thus being categorized as special group.

Nyokabi expressed her joy with the huge turnout of the street children. She urged them to resign from the street and form a group of young entrepreneurs and knock in her office for assistance.

She added that Jubilee Alliance Party (JAP) is on a mission to register people from its strong hold for the upcoming general election.

The street children whom most of them are slum dwellers could not hide their joy since the county askaris has been terrorising them for not having IDs.
