The Sportpesa Premier League match between Thika United and defending champions Tusker on Sunday 19th March 2017 will kick off at 2pm.
This early kickoff is because the Thika Sub-County Stadium will host two matches on the day, both planned for live broadcast.
The other match of the day, pitting newcomers Nakumatt against AFC Leopards, will start at 4:15pm.
Ahead of the weekend, Thika boss James Nandwa says they have worked on the mistakes pointed out in their first match against Mathare United and promises an exciting encounter.
“We generally played well last weekend but there are some mistakes made that cost us the points. The next match will be tough but we will be ready for it,” said Nandwa.
Thika were ranked 12th at the end of last season and are looking for a return to the top half of the league. Against Mathare, they lost 3-2, with the slum boys coming from 1-0 down to win in the dying minutes of the mtach.
