People define maturity differently and from different aspects. One of the aspects that can be used to rate maturity, especially in men is their actions, what they do.
The following are some of the aspects that define mature men.
1. Distance themselves from their family
A mature man might not stay in the village but he makes sure he visits the village at least once in a month, especially when his family members are in the village. Quality family time strengthens bonds and a mature man sees himself as being part of a larger codependent group.
2. Hold grudges
Regardless of the arguments that might happen between him and family members, friends, lovers and coworkers, a mature man forgets immediately. He does not behave like the famous Anonymous hackers who once known for their 5 simple rules with one being "never forgetting".
3. Doing things just to please others
Unlike immature young men, call them boys, they can start something, be it a project or any business, solely to impress friends and mostly women, mature men will do what they think will make them achieve their dreams.
4. They don’t see their job as something boring that they have to put up with
Mature men realize that others depend on them, they are breadwinners, they pay other people's bills, so their career is a very big priority.
5. Shocked by a woman’s words or actions
For instance, most women will argue over small issues, just because nature made them behave like so. A mature man will not get pissed off nor shocked when such happens. The case is very different with boys, it will be a fight of who is superior than the other.
