Dennis Ombachi is a Kenyan rugby sevens player who competed for Kenya at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Ombachi will forever be remembered after he made a very late run from deep to sneak Kenya through securing the slot to qualify for the Olympics. It was history in the making and very emotional as other team members celebrated the win.
He also was a member of the squad that competed at the 2013 Rugby World Cup Sevens in Russia
In his early childhood, he grew in Nandi County and studied at the famous Nandi Hills Academy.
His hometown is Nyamira County but he also lived in Nakuru County.
He is also an alumnus of Nairobi University (UoN) and a friendly individual.
