A Jubilee Party senator has sensationally claimed that the August 8 general election will be Kalonzo Musyoka's last shot at the presidency.
Speaking during NTV's AMLive show on Tuesday, Kiambu Senator Kimani Wamatangi said that age was fast catching up with the former VP and he would not have another chance after August 8.
"It is said this is Raila's last bullet, the same applies to Kalonzo," he said.
"He (Kalonzo) has been in leadership for 35 years even being a vice president. Who tells you this guy will still be young in 2022," he added.
Wamatangi also cited the alleged agreement between Raila and Kalonzo that Raila would back him in the 2017 August polls, saying Kalonzo had been betrayed.
"Wiper secretary general, Hassan Omar has publicly spoken on the betrayal by Raila, they agreed that Raila would back him in this year's election, but Raila will not do that," he said.
