Nakuru Governor Kinuthia Mbugua on Tuesday joined thousands of jubilant supporters in Nakuru town to celebrate the acquittal of Deputy President William Ruto and Joshua Sang.

This was after ICC ruled that Ruto and his co-accused Joshua Sang have no case to answer over the 2007/2008 post-election violence.

“This is a great moment in the history of Kenya and the people of Nakuru as these cases come to an end,” Kinuthia said.

“It is many days that we have been on our knees praying for the acquittal of these cases. It has been moments of toment,” Kinuthia added.

Supporters of the Jubilee duo of Uhuruto said the acquittal is a blessing to the Rift Valley.
