After being cleared to run for president on a NASA ticket, Opposition flag-bearer Raila Odinga has given snippets of his Kenya in case he is elected to State House in the next elections.
Speaking at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre upon receiving the certificate, Odinga said he was poised to take Kenya back to the right tract like was the case in 2002.
“This election, we are definitely better than 2002. The 2002 one was a cyclone. This one of 2017 is a tsunami,” he said.
“The war has begun. The salvation has begun,” said Odinga.
Odinga said that in his “Canaan”, Kenyans will be treated equitably without discrimination.
“Canaan is a fertile country. It has many resources. It is rich with opportunities for everyone. It is where everyone has their right," he said.
"Children will get education, the sick will get health care, and there will be sufficient security for everyone.”
