The brain comprises of neurons and neural circuits. They two are responsible for delivering messages from one part of the body to another.  Weed gives user brains a false feeling of relaxation once it has been taken into the systems.

According to Thorsten Rudroff, Ph.D., an assistant professor at Colorado State University argues that weed produces chemical compounds scientifically known as cannabinoids.

The cannabinoids that get attention include delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD).  THC gives users the feeling moments after they have taken the substance.

"So when you smoke cannabis, THC gives you the high feeling. The more THC you have, the more powerful the high," he argues.

Weed also gives users a feeling of euphoria as well as enhances energy. The plant contains a substances known as indica and sativa that are responsible for pain management and sleep. Many individuals who take weed tend to have irregular sleeping partners.

However, there is no scientific explanation as to why the plant produces the different experienced when used.

The long-term use of weed can lead poor cognitive performance. There studies that have proven that sections of the brain create new memories after long-term use of the plant.
