1. 24-hours
Though one can stay awake for 24 hours because of the spirit to do something, it affects your productivity at the end of the day. Staying awake for a whole day can be compared to 0.1 percent blood alcohol concentration. You will feel like your body is being controlled by something else.
2. 36-hours
You will start having memory related issues if you do not sleep for 36 hours. Researchers have proven that most of the people who stay awake for up to 36 hours cannot remember the faces they have seen before. If you have memory issues then you could be lacking sleep.
3. 48-hours
Individuals who do not sleep for 48 hours are likely to suffer from issues to do with microsleep. According to sleep educator Terry Cralle, these people are likely to nod off without their knowledge. The only way this can be solved is retiring to bed for good sleep.
