Mombasa governor Hassan Joho has said he stands as the best person to take over from NASA leader Raila Odinga if he (Raila) ascends to presidency in the next election.
While addressing supporters in Eastleigh on Sunday, Joho said he is set to becoming the next president of Kenya ‘very soon’.
He argued that he is the best person to outwit 'outgoing' Deputy President William Ruto.
Joho warned Ruto to start taking caution and prepare for tough political times because if he (Joho) ascends to State House, the deputy president will begin undergoing his downfall.
“Nakwambia kwa hii serikali ya Raila nitatambaa mimi.(I am telling you, I will dominate Raila’s government,” said Joho.
He asked Kenyans to come out in large numbers and vote Raila Odinga during the October 17 polls.
