Wiper party deputy leader Farah Maalim has spoken hours after the controversial swearing-in of the National Super Alliance (NASA) principal Raila Odinga as 'People's President.'

His party leader, Kalonzo Musyoka, who was to be sworn in as Raila's deputy, did not turn up for the much-awaited event.

Maalim in a tweet on Wednesday said that politics has got no permanent friends or enemies, however, noted there is permanent interest in politics.

"There are no permanent friends or enemies but there is permanent interest in politics," he said.

The former speaker of the National Assembly added that in 2022, there will be no NASA or Jubilee since extremely unlikely alliances will form.

"Watch how the politics of 2022 will unfold. Extremely unlikely alliances will form. It will no longer be Jubilee & Nasa but akin to 2013 when the biggest foes Kalonzo &Raila became bedfellows," Maalim added.
