Former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti has said her desire and passion to serve Machakos people is the key reason why she will never give up in politics.
Speaking during an interview on Radio Citizen on Thursday, Ndeti said she was raised up in a family that never gives up.
The Wiper politician said her quest to represent Machakos residents as governor will never die.
“I am determined and I know Machakos people love and want me as their governor,” Ndeti said.
Ndeti stated that prayers and persistence are what has seen her walk through the murky political waters.
“It is not easy fighting these battles, I have experienced many ugly things in the quest for electoral justice for Machakos people,” Ndeti said.
The former MP at the same time said that she does not hate Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua.
Ndeti said her differences with the Maendeleo Chap Chap leader is based on development policies.
The former Assistant Minister said she is ready for a by-election as ordered by the Court of Appeal.
“I am are ready for the battle and I am sure Machakos people will give me the job,” she said.
The Court of Appeal nullified Mutua’s election last Friday on grounds that the IEBC failed to conduct a free and fair poll.
Mutua has since appealed the ruling at the Supreme Court.
