Uganda President Yoweri Museveni is probably one of the most controversial East African leader well known to Kenyans.
He has received a lot of public condemnation and battled with Kenyans a number of times in the social media. He too has openly condemned and attacked Kenyans a number of times.
The following are some of the reasons he does not see eye to eye with Kenyans;
1. Kenyans do not tolerate Sevo
Kenyans on social media have been criticizing him him as a dictator and not a great leader. They said if he was in Kenya, he would receive zero votes.
Kenyans never lauded his presidential election; A congratulatory message sent by President Uhuru on Museveni’s re-election was met with a lot of criticism by Kenyans showing how unpopular he is in Kenya..
Migingo Island crisis. This small 'piece of rock' has put Museveni in bad books with Kenyans.
Museveni cows. Museveni views Kenyans as cattle rustlers. This might be true but it happens to both party though he condemns Kenya for it and thinks we got his cows.
Too much power. Museveni is 'drunk' with power. He utters what he feels like and wherever he wishes.
He fears Kenya. Kenya under Moi’s presidency did not tolerate Museveni at all when he stationed his troops at the border accusing Kenya of supporting rebel based in Kenya. Moi warned him that his actions would face stiff opposition from Kenyan troops which forced his troops retreat.
