Jubilee Party rivals, the National Super Alliance (Nasa) were scheduled to launch Manifesto, Monday June 19, ahead of the August 8 polls.However, the Raila Odinga-led coalition did not launch the document, which Jubilee, led by President Uhuru Kenyatta, has been asking them to do.Instead, Nasa through Chief of campaigns, ANC party Musalia MUdavadi, issued a statement, explaining why the laucnh did not take place.Mudavadi cited the ongoing Ramadhan prayers for Muslims, saying Nasa postponed the event, in respect for its Muslim supporters and leaders."In respect to the Muslim fraternity, the National Super Alliance has rescheduled the launch of its Manifesto from 19th June 2017, to 27th June 2017," Mudavadi said in part."This postponement is in respect of the last 10 days of Ramadhan, when they are deeply engaged in the most intensive prayers of the holy month of Ramadhan," added the Nasa co-principal.
