For the last two days, Tom Joseph Kajwang' has made headlines for swearing in the NASA leader Raila Odinga as the People's President.
The Ruaraka MP administered the controversial oath on Tuesday that later led to his arrest on Wednesday, but who is this man really?
TJ Kajwang' as he is popularly known is the brother of the late Homa Bay Senator Gerald Otieno Kajwang' and the current Senator Moses Kajwang' who succeeded his late brother.
Kajwang has been a staunch member of ODM, CORD, and now the NASA coalition.
He is serving his second term as the Ruaraka MP.
TJ who is one of the vocal lawyers in Kenya studied Law at the University of Nairobi and serves as an attorney at the Kajwang' & Kajwang' Advocates.
He will be remembered for his involvement in what the government views as treason.
Kajwang' has been charged with participating in illegal assembly and administration of an illegal oath.
NASA supporters have been demanding his release while daring the government to arrest Raila who is indeed the real culprit.
If found guilty, TJ risks life imprisonment.
