Siaya Senator James Orengo has said that NASA intends to seek legal recourse in the International Criminal Court for the violence meted out to opposition supporters by law enforcement agencies.

''These deaths are extra-judicial killings by the police of the Republic of Kenya... This matter will not end here; it has got to be taken to the International Human Rights Commission...This killing must be taken to the International Criminal Court because these are killings which are committed against people because of their political persuasion... I can tell the Uhuru government that the killings of over 50 Kenyans will not go in vain and they will have to pay a price for it,'' Orengo said.

Mr. Orengo, a respected legal mind, was speaking during a fundraiser for the victims of ''police brutality''.

NASA is scheduled to hold a rally on Tuesday when President Kenyatta will take his second-term oath of office.
