[Photo|standard.co.ke]Former Machakos senator Johnstone Muthama has indicated how the National Super Alliance (Nasa) will block the upcoming October 26 fresh presidential election from taking place in Nasa perceived strongholds.Muthama has noted that the opposition will urge its followers not to take part in repeat poll.“From Monday we will continue with street demonstrations, we are against the October 26 elections and we will boycott elections in Ukambani, coast, Western, upper and lower North Eastern, all parts of Homan Bay, Kisumu, Nyamira among other regions,” Citizen Digital quotes Muthama.The former senator also hit out at President Uhuru Kenyatta's Jubilee party for amending the election laws just days to the repeat presidential poll.“You cannot change the Constitution at the last minute, the Constitution is not for Uhuru alone but for over 40 million Kenyans,” Muthama stated.He also criticised the government for outlawing Nasa's peaceful anti-IEBC demos in the city centres of Nairobi, Mombasa.“NASA is exercising its constitutional right by calling for demonstrations and picketing for necessary reforms,” noted Muthama.Muthama spoke on Saturday in Makueni County during a burial ceremony.
