NASA Deputy Leader Kalonzo Musyoka says he feels relieved and calm following a meeting between NASA Leader Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday.
Kalonzo said his heart felt calm since the meeting showed there was good blood between the two leaders.
Speaking during the funeral service of the late Mzee Harrison Mulili Ndeti at Mua, Machakos County, the Wiper Democratic Movement leader said he has been advocating for dialogue therefore Raila-Uhuru meeting was a gesture of what he always asked for.
"I am a happy man now. I feel very calm," said Kalonzo on Saturday, adding that NASA coalition principals would convene a meeting on Monday to align issues raised.
Kalonzo's sentiments came hours after he, alongside co-principals Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula issued a statement saying they were not consulted.
"While we have always advocated for dialogue, as Co-Principals of the NASA Coalition, we were not privy to the discussions at Harambee House. The Four NASA Co-principals have however scheduled a retreat on Monday 12th March, 2018 when we shall deliberate on the political developments," read the statement signed by the three principals on Friday.
